Fall 2015 Aisin Mixed Bowling League

The inaugural season of the AISIN Mixed (co-ed) Bowling League came to a successful conclusion on Monday, December 7th, 2015. The league started on October 5th, 2015 and played every Monday evening for ten weeks.

Teams consisted of a mixture of ATC-A and AWA members with any combination of men and women. Teams competed in friendly and spirited competition for points during weeks 1 through 9. A mini-tournament was held the last week which included a banquet, the crowning of the league champions with the awarding of the AMBL Champions Cup trophy and bestowing of individual achievement awards.

The league’s intent is to bring ATC-A and AWA members together in a social atmosphere outside of the work environment. In this way the league fosters camaraderie and encourages members, who do not normally have an opportunity, to interact and get to know each other. By creating a fun atmosphere where members are encouraged to interact, cross-functional teams at work can be more readily created.

For the Fall 2015 session the league consisted of seven teams of four members each. The league is planning to hold a Spring ten-week session in early 2016 and is looking to grow. The league is open to all AWA and ATC-A members and utilizes a handicap system which allows everyone to be competitive. The Spring session is slated to play on Thursday evenings.
Aisin members not on the league are welcome and encouraged to come up to bowling alley on league night and cheer on their coworkers, to take the opportunity of meeting and getting to know other Aisin members in a fun-filled setting.
See you on the lanes!
